On March 17, 2025 Balázs Hendrich took over the post of the Executive Head of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Budapest from Ambassador István Vásáry.
In recognition of his lifework – on the occasion of the national holiday of March 15 – Professor István Vásáry was awarded the Széchenyi Prize by the President of the Republic, Tamás Sulyok.
